NOTE: ONCE SUBMITTED YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO CHANGE YOUR PRESENTATION. NO EXCEPTIONS.

General Guidelines:

• Papers and Posters accepted at a previous NZOA meeting are not eligible for submission. 
• Please indicate your preference for Abstract presentation – Paper or Poster. The programme committee will take this into consideration but cannot guarantee your preference.
• The Programme Committee will determine the most effective presentation method, either paper or poster.
• It is the responsibility of the submitting author to communicate all presentation information to the presenting author.
• There is no numerical limit on the number of abstracts an author may submit.
• Podium presentation time will be 5 minutes, with 3 minutes questions (a total 8 minutes per paper).

Submission requirements:

• Abstract character count cannot exceed 300 words.
• Abstracts must contain Title, Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion and Conclusions.
  
• Your abstract title must be short and specific, explaining the nature of the study/procedure. Use Title Case only (abbreviations, bolding, underlining and italics not to be used).
  
• Define any abbreviations the first time they are used.

*Please note: virtual presentations are not available at the NZOA ASM, you must be there to present in person.
If you present an abstract, then you must register to attend the conference, there are no free entries for those who submit and present an abstract. If you submit a poster, you must be there to present it and hang it up. 

*Please read the above guidelines and requirements before entering your submission. Any abstract submissions which do not adhere to the above requirements may be sent back or rejected by the abstracts committee.
