We look forward to welcoming you to Nelson for the first paediatric orthopaedic meeting associated with the ASM. The opportunity to combine with the main meeting and the hip society will have huge benefits. 

On the Friday there will be an industry welcome function held in the trades area at the Rutherford from 5pm. 

On Saturday morning we have a combined session with the hip society focusing on young adolescent hip with contributions from Dr Michael Millis from Boston and Dr Stuart Weinstein from Iowa City. This is sure to be a highlight. 

On Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning Dr Weinstein will be joined by Dr Michael Vitale from New York with local faculty , including Dr Jimmy Chong, a rehabilitation medicine specialist with strong academic credentials based at Starship and the Wilson home. This POSNZ component of the meeting will focus on developmental hip dysplasia and the challenges of managing cerebral palsy. We have case based panel sessions on foot and ankle, DDH and cerebral palsy. 

There will be good craic at a  combined conference dinner with the hip society at The Boathouse on Saturday night. 

As most of us already know, Nelson is live wire beautiful provincial city that we hope you will enjoy as part of a great learning experience.
