The NZOA annual scientific meeting boasts a top-tier lineup of global experts focusing on navigation and   robotics in orthopaedics. This event promises invaluable insights for orthopaedic professional’s keen on staying at the forefront of technological innovations in their field.

Dr Michelle Dickinson Michelle is a local scientist and engineer and is our keynote speaker on Monday. She is famously known as "nano girl".

Mr Sebastian Lustig is based at the University of Lyon and whose practice focuses on hip and knee replacement, with a special interest in robotic-assisted surgery, rapid recovery, and revision surgery.

Mr Greg Poulter Mr Greg Poulter from Indianapolis USA is an international leading expert in complex spine deformity and robotics.

Mr Martin Roche is the Director of Arthroplasty HSS Florida and an international leader in sensor-assisted and robotic knee surgery.

Prof. Charles Saltzman is the Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Utah. Dr. Saltzman is focused on improving physical function of patients with limited mobility. 

Prof. Paul Smith is based at the National University in Canberra and is the Director of the AOA Joint replacement registry. 

The meeting will feature plenary sessions covering Hip/Knee arthroplasty and Spine surgery, alongside free paper presentations spanning two days.

Experts from both local and international faculties will contribute, with a special session highlighting the newest results from the New Zealand and Australian Joint Registries.

Convenors Charlie Lewis and Ritwik Kejriwal are orchestrating an exceptional scientific and social agenda.

On Sunday, October 20th, the Sports afternoon will offer golf, fishing, tennis, and mountain biking.
Additionally, the social program on Monday and Tuesday will include visits to breathtaking gardens and the
local Maunga.
