NZOA invites you to participate in the 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting
Orthopaedics for Surgeons
With the world still under the threat of COVID, we are in the envious position of being able to offer a comprehensive NZOA Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held at the National Museum of NZ, Te Papa. The theme of the meeting has been chosen to emphasise what we do best, treat patients, and not worry about administration, practice management, regulations or politics. This year, the main meeting will be held in the Soundings Theatre, in a similar format to 2020, there will be no concurrent sessions, allowing all surgeons to absorb nuances from Sub Specialties other than their own. Talks will all be kept short and focused on clinical topics, and include a mixture of Instructional Course Lectures, research presentations and clinical panel discussions. Michael Gillespie, the AOA President, will be the only invitee, and there will be a Zoom session with Carousel Presidents from the USA, UK, Canada and South Africa about current issues in their respective countries.
The final banquet on Tuesday evening will be held in a spectacular recently renovated venue. Ryan Johnstone and I look forward to welcoming you to Wellington for this unique event during these unique times.
