Terms and Conditions for payments made to New Zealand Orthopaedic Association
General
- The NZ Orthopaedic Association is an Incorporated New Zealand society and all website activities come under New Zealand legal jurisdiction.
- The NZ Orthopaedic Association is committed to following fair business practices. To this end we assure customers that the operation of this website follows the Model Code for Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce published by the New Zealand Ministry of Commerce, and that we faithfully observe our obligations as set out by the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
- Payments processed on this website will appear on your bank statement with the payee listed as ‘NZ Orthopaedic Association'.
Accommodation

Confirmation email
You should receive a confirmation email of your registration within 15 minutes of registering.

COVID policy
Please note, should there be any COVID restrictions or enforced government lock down situations regarding the event, you will be able to get a full refund of your registration fee.
We require all delegates to be fully vaccinated and boosted, in line with Te Pae policy.
Please ensure you wear a mask where required.
Sanitiser will be available from the registration desk.

Early bird rates policy
Please note, if you register for an early bird rate, you MUST PAY by the early bird cut off date (Sunday 31st of July).
If you register for the early bird rate but do not pay by the 31st of July, your registration invoice will be amended to reflect the increase in fee.
Invoices
All prices include GST. A tax invoice will be automatically issued once your registration is submitted, unless you have paid via credit card, in which you should receive a receipt for payment.

Pricing
Prices displayed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include NZ GST at a rate for 15%, unless stated otherwise.
Paid Event Registrations
- Once you have registered for a NZ Orthopaedic Association event you will be invoiced by the Association. Payment is required within 7 days of registration.
- The NZ Orthopaedic Association reserves the right to defer or cancel any event if there are insufficient bookings or conditions arising beyond our control. A refund of registration fees in most situations will occur.
If Government regulations state the event cannot go ahead due to COVID restrictions, NZOA will give you a full refund of your registration fee.
- The NZ Orthopaedic Association reserves the right to not refund fees when cancellation by the registrant has occurred. Cancellations by registrants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Individuals are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations. The NZ Orthopaedic Association. does not accept liability for hotel, travel, partner programme or additional meal or beverage costs before, during or after the event.
Payment
- Valid payments will be processed once you have submitted your payment. When paying please ensure if paying by credit card, you submit valid credit card details and complete all other fields as required. The NZ Orthopaedic Association will issue receipts for all payments received.
Transport
Transport will be available from ScenicNZ coachlines to and from local hotels to Te Pae during the conference.
A transport schedule will be made available on the delegate conference app and in the digital delegate handbook prior to the ASM.
Virtual attendance
Recordings of plenary sessions will be made available for virtual delegates post ASM. A zoom link will be provided to you prior to the meeting.
