New Zealand National Sarcoma Meeting 2021

Welcome message

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to welcome you all to the first of what will hopefully be a regular 6 monthly meeting of the New Zealand Sarcoma Group.

The aim of the meeting is to provide a forum for service improvement, audit, and to increase collegiality within our service.

We are lucky to have Professor Adrienne Flanagan from University College London and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital to talk to us about the one hundred thousand genome project and sarcoma. Prof Flanagan is leading figure in cancer and sarcoma research, she has published over 130 articles and has over 32 000 citations. Click here for her Bio.

I look forward to seeing you all at the dinner on the Thursday night, and hope you get the chance to see some of the Americas cup racing that will be taking place at the time.

Andrew Johnston
