It is with great pleasure that I announce the 2023 New Zealand Knee and Sports Surgery Society meeting to be held in Dunedin, on the weekend of the Bledisloe Cup Test against Australia, on 5 August being held at the Dunedin Leisure Lodge.

The meeting will be from 1pm Friday 4th August, until Saturday morning. This meeting will involve papers and presentations with Peter Meyers being the guest speaker from Australia and will include a dinner on the Friday night at Vault21.

There will be the opportunity to purchase a package deal with tickets to the rugby game including pre-and post-game entertainment and this will be on a strictly first come first served basis, with 25 packages available. Priority initially will be given to those members who have also put an abstract forward that has been accepted for presentation

There will be a limited number of shared twin rooms accommodation (28 beds) available to members, the majority of which will be at the meeting venue, and this will be included in the registration details which are to follow. It would be helpful to coordinate with others attending the meeting to agree who you are happy to share a room with and this will be able to added to your registration form.

Accommodation is obviously going to be difficult at this time of year, so if you are thinking of attending with partners and family, please investigate Airbnb accommodation for the Friday and Saturday nights separately. Most hotels in the city are fully booked, due to the rugby.
